We hiked Muhambura in Volcanos, did Chimpanzee Trekking, two hikes in Nyungwe and a boat trip on Lake Kivu. All activities were coordinated well for us and we really enjoyed all of them. Only on the boat ride we felt a bit uncomfortable with the external guide (not from New Horizon).

Our driver guide Theo took care of us really well and was super friendly. He happily shared some information on the areas we drove through, but he also let us rest and chill in the car without always talking. We felt really comfortable with him.

We asked several different tour companies for roughly the same itinerary and New Horizon was most reasonably priced. We would definitely choose New Horizon again!

From… read more the time I made the initial contact with Nshuti, everything went perfectly well. What I liked the most was their flexibility. For example, I have some mobility issues due to recent back surgery, so I wanted to choose the hotels myself instead of those recommended in their itinerary. They agreed with my request and changed the tour price accordingly.
Everything was well organised, went according to the plans and I was well taken care of by the guides. I recommend New Horizon Africa Safaris to any solo female traveler visiting Rwanda.
